Happy Spring... 

Is it really? With these crazy temperatures all over, Mother Nature seems to have gone on vacation! I hope everyone is staying safe, cozy and surviving the wild weather wherever you are on the planet.

This e-letter is just a hodge-podge of happy videos to get us all back in a much more jovial mood than we have been during this long dreary winter. I think the entire planet has been in a funk. As Loretta Castorini would say "Snap Out of It!"

Marty McFly

Here are a few seconds of Marty McFly during one of his acupuncture sessions. Marty is a tripod (3 legs) rescue, who I am pretty sure is an Angel with fur providing therapy for whoever is in the same room as he is. He is such an easy patient to work with. 

Marty has a team of caretakers aka Team McFly who make sure he gets the best care and love possible. 

Sammy

Sammy is a lovable lab who loves to eat. (All labs are part goat!) He is so much fun to treat, has a sense of humor and brightens all of our day at the office. 

His pet human takes extra care to provide him with a special bone broth frozen in a Kong or container so he can enjoy that during his session along with treats and an occasional carrot. 

Sammy's birthday is tomorrow, March 21 and it has been declared a National holiday for all dogs.  Happy Birthday Sammy! We love you. 

Miss Anubis

Anubis aka Nubi is part of the office staff of Our Family Veterinary Services and her pet human is Dr. Leslie Swieko. Anubis loves her acupuncture treatments and is so chilled out during them. She is responding so well to her sessions that she can now jump on the bed and annoy her pet humans. 

Of course after her acupuncture needles are out, she does request a mani-pedi, facial and mud wrap followed by a massage! 

Kobe the French Bulldog

Kobe is a very sweet French Bulldog who has IVDD. IVDD, or Intervertebral Disc Disease, is a spinal disorder that follows from the herniating of an intervertebral disc. It is painful and many times the dog must be crated, put on medications so it will not injure itself even more.

Kobe makes the cutest little piggy snorts during his sessions! He has a very supportive pet human who takes extra care of him making sure all his needs are met and that he is comfortable. 

Our Family Veterinary Services Juanita

 Resident Office Manager and Psychic

One of Juanita's many duties at the office is to manage several stray live-in cats, greet patients at the door and help me set up the room for patients. She loves to help pick an oracle Thera-Pet card for the message of the day. In her spare time Juanita is a party planner. 

If you would like to adopt a cute cat or kitten, we have several at the office that need good homes. Unconditional love and entertainment!
