Greetings,

I hope everyone is surviving the rains and brutal heat. Please make sure to keep your pets cool, indoors when possible with plenty of water.

This special edition of the Four Paws Acupuncture e-letter features the brave K9 Unit of the Salem MA Police Department & their handler officers.

I was elated when the Salem MA Police Department gave me permission to visit with their K9 Unit dogs and officers. Here is a short video of that visit. I was very nervous and apologize for the shaky camera and voice!

K9 Madden, black lab who is trained in detecting explosives and firearms. Such a brave and handsome boy! His handler is Officer Stokes. Happy Birthday Madden!

K9 Derby is a Golden Retriever who is Salem's Community Resource Dog - a therapy dog and is adorable! His handler is Officer Rondinelli. More about them in the video below.
