Happy Summer!
How is everyone holding up these days? June is just zipping on by I do hope that you are taking time to smell the flowers, soak in some sun and enjoy the longer days.
There are a few updates about re-opening Four Paws Acupuncture that I wanted to address in this e-letter. At this time Four Paws Acupuncture will remain closed, even though the COVID-19 restrictions have been relaxed. I am not able to take on new patients, make house-calls or treat animals at Our Family Veterinary Services in Peabody for now.
A few of my closest friends already know that early in 2020, before the pandemic was official, I had contracted COVID-19. It was an experience that has changed the way I look at life and realize what really matters. I honestly thought I was going to die. (That phrase sounds so much better when said in the voice of Rose-Ann Roseanna-Danna!) I even made a will and swore if I lived I would finally finish writing BARKOPAEDIA along with a few other personal
bucket list wishes. I will never be the same, emotionally or physically. And I don't think any of us will every be the same after the few years we all endured. In a way it was a blessing and I am grateful to have lived through it and come out the other side.
At this time I am still experiencing back lash symptoms from the virus that prevent me from driving or being physically able to get on the floor and treat dogs. So for now, those words, "Physician, heal thyself!" is my new mantra. And I am pulling out all of my holistic, wooie-wooie bag of tricks to get back on track! I am grateful to all those who have been so supportive during this time, especially
my husband Norm.
When the time is right we will reopen. For now thank you for being patient. Meanwhile, I will continue to write books and create online classes. Sending healing thoughts to all in need.
Wishing all a very peaceful and healthy summer,
